4/04/05- Vironics donates AEDs to the International
Chinese Charity Organization
(ICCO) to support "Sudden Cardiac Death Awareness" program. The
ICCO is one of the largest charity organizations dedicated to assisting hospitals,
nursing homes and schools in China. It recently lauched the "Sudden Cardiac
Death Awareness: program to increase public awareness of sudden cardiac death.
3/20/05- Vironics signs agreement with Calki International and China Prospect company to distribute LifeLine AED in Hong Kong and China
Calki International is one of the leading medical device distributor in China with offices in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Jinan, Beijing and Bangkok. The company employs more than 120 staff members and connection with over 300 distributors in China. Calki International specializes in critical care medical devices.
China Prospect company is a leading cardiac device company in China specializes in internal cardiac defibrillator and pacemaker. China Prospect company is the exclusive distributor for Biotronics devices and have over 50 sales people.
1/12/05- Hong Kong Government through its
Civil Aid Service place the first Asia order for Lifeline AED. Civil Aid Service
is an auxiliary emergency service financed by the government. It is formed
by over 3,500 volunteers from the Hong Kong community. The Service's primary
duty is to augment the regular front-line emergency forces in the
event of natural disasters and other emergencies. It also provides various
community services such as crowd management for community activities, fire-prevention
patrols in country parks, and provision of training on mountain hiking safety
to the public.
11/10/04- Vironics signs a definitive agreement with Kaden International Inc for filing regulatory approval in China. Kaden International is one of the leading medical device companies in China and has 15 offices in China located in Bejing, Shanghai and Tainjin. The company has over 150 sales agents with annual sales in excess of US $ 30 million in 2003.
8/19/04- Vironics and Defibtech, LLC sign an definitive agreement to be the exclusive distributor of its award winning Lifeline AED in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
